About Us

With more than 440 small animal practices across the country, of all shapes and sizes, Vets for Pets is one of the largest UK veterinary groups and offers Veterinary Surgeons a range of opportunities, including the opportunity to run your own practice. This means you to join a team that can support your individual needs while offering you a bespoke introduction to the practice, local community and caring for our patients! 

We’re an ten-year-old Vets for Pets practice located in Dunfermline who, from the outset, we worked to build a practice that is an important part of our community. The way we have chosen to do things attracts clients that support our vision of sustainability and high-quality care and service. 

The practice is independently run, by Forbes and Lauren, supported by a fantastic team, who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community and through this they have enables a real “proud to be part of the team” work ethos. 

The practice opening hours are 8.30am -6pm Monday to Friday. As a growing practice we are always interested in hearing from local talent interested in working with us, because everyone is at different stages in their veterinary career, we are open to speak to anyone. So, if you are an experienced vet looking for somewhere they can mentor and lead a team or a new graduate wanting that first step on the career ladder we want to hear from you. We are not just interested in hearing from vets with our ambitious plans we want to hear from nurses wanting to expand their knowledge, student nurses looking for paid roles to gain experience and anyone wanting to enter a career in animal care interested in our veterinary care assistant or client care assistant positions 

We have fantastic equipment such as:

• M3 digital dental radiography
• MyLab Omega vet ultrasound
• In house Idexx lasercyte, microscopy
• Blood pressure monitor, pulse ox, capnography.
• We are always looking to add more services as we grow and are now expanding the practice to include a completely separate dental and ultrasound/endoscopy room
