Our practice is locally owned by Iain Mottram and we are able to offer a working environment that is bright, spacious and air-conditioned. The practice is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including new investment in a dental x-ray machine, as well as an exercise area for team use. Iain is supported by a fantastic, very experienced, team who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community and through this they have enabled a real “proud to be part of the team” work ethos.

Our new colleague will need to be a Veterinary Surgeon who has good all-round skills to join us on a part time basis, ideally for 2 days per week and 1 in 6 Saturdays however there will be no Sundays or OOH.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as good first opinion experience. You will be competent in routine clinical and surgical procedures. You will also need to be happy to mentor and guide junior vets in practice.

Warrington is based under an hour from both Manchester and Liverpool, along with the Peak District, so is the perfect location for city lovers but also those who prefer to switch off in the countryside. It is also around 20 minutes from Manchester airport!

You will be joining a team of 4 vets, 1 Head Nurse, 1 RVN, 2 SVN, 6 Receptionists and a Practice Manager, meaning you can focus solely on the vet role. All our colleagues are perfectly placed to support you achieve your career goals. We have a certificate holder in Advanced Veterinary Practice with focus on Dermatology. We also have an Ultrasound Machine where a number of our Vets have developed their Ultrasonography skills. CPD is greatly supported and one of our Nurses is currently completing a physiotherapy course.
