Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly small animal practice at Northampton Riverside!  We are based inside a busy Pets at Home store with free onsite parking and is conveniently located close to the A45, 10 minutes’ drive from the M1 and from the busy town centre. You will be joining a friendly, close-knit, and supportive team consisting of 2 vets, 1 existing RVN and 3 receptionists. 

We see a real variety of cases and have a large and loyal client base. Our established practice is purpose built with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental machine, in house laboratory and blood pressure monitor. Perhaps most importantly, we are equipped with a fantastic bean to cup coffee machine!

The successful applicant will be expected to provide a high level of care to our patients and deal with any emergency cases as they arrive. You will be competent in running routine nurse clinics and be responsible for all aspects of general nursing within a busy practice.

This is a full-time role with a weekend rota of 1 in 2 Saturday's until 2pm and time in lieu for weekends worked. The role does not involve any OOH work.
