Warrington is based under an hour from both Manchester and Liverpool, along with the Peak District so is the perfect location for the city lovers but also those who prefer to switch off in the countryside. It is also around 20 minutes from Manchester airport!  

You will be joining a team of 6 vets, 1 head nurse, 2 RVN, 2 SVN, 6 receptionists and a practice manager, meaning you can focus solely on the vet role. All our colleagues are perfectly placed to support you achieve your career goals as they have certificate holders in practice including CertAVP. 

Our new colleague will need to be a Veterinary Surgeon who has good all-round skills to join us on a fixed term contract lasting 1 year. This is a part time role, working around 26 hours per week and will include working 1 in 6 Saturdays on a rota basis, however there will be no Sundays or OOH. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as good first opinion experience. You will be competent in routine clinical and surgical procedures. You will also need to be happy to mentor and guide junior vets in practice
