Job Description

SOUTH SHIELDS VETS4PETS VETERINARY SURGEON:  £39,000 - £55,000 DOE

Vets4pets at the Nook in South Shields are currently going through a very exciting period of change and growth, with our new JVP’s (Joint Venture Partners) Kirstin, Tammie and Kay coming in to lead the practice forward. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will ensure the practice goes from strength to strength!

As new partners, we are looking to build on our already inclusive, loyal and family-feel ethos by placing more emphasis on mental health and well-being for the whole team.  We share a firm belief that investing in your team creates value and purpose leading to a positive environment where individuals feel empowered and supported. We currently have 4 experienced FT vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 VCAs & 5 CCAs and are looking for a friendly addition to our lovely team.

The practice itself is lucky enough to have a very lovely, loyal, client base that is predominantly dogs and cats with some exotics but there is lots of potential to develop these further. Within the clinical team we do have a Cert AVP holder and another colleague undergoing an Internal Medicine Certificate, there is lots of potential for you to pursue your special interests and be supported by the practice to achieve a certificate.

Wherever you want to go in your veterinary career Vets4pets at the Nook in South Shields could be the perfect practice to get you there.
