Would you like to be part of a dynamic, enthusiastic and caring veterinary team in the heart of London? We are a small animal practice which has expanded rapidly in recent years and are looking for an experienced Vet to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.
About us:
The practice is based in a central location within a Pets at Home store, has free parking and is within walking distance of London Bridge train station and numerous good transport links.
Our surgery is spacious, air conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has a full range of modern equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, in house laboratory, blood pressure monitoring, full range of cat, dog and rabbit dental equipment, tonometry, cautery and suction, dental X-ray unit and a high level ultrasound machine with four probes.
We strive to work to the highest standards, recognising the contribution of each team member while encouraging and support their individual interests. Our team includes vets who have achieved certificates in Opthalmology and Small Animal medicine durng their time with us, and we also run regular in-house training sessions. There is a diverse case load providing many opportunities for further development of the practice and we have previously been nominated for both Practice of the Year and Vet of the Year in the Petplan Veterinary Awards.
About you and the role:
You will be Vet with minimum 18 months experience and be confident in routine surgery.
You will have excellent communication skills, be passionate about the role and keen to develop your skills, enjoy your job and want to be around colleagues who feel the same way.
By joining us you will be part of a practice dedicated to providing a superb standard of client and animal care within a friendly and supportive team. The team consists of 4 vets, experienced nursing team of 3 RVN's, 1 SVN's, 2 VCA's, 5 CCA's and Practice Manager.
This role is full time working 40 hours per week plus 1 in 4 Saturdays. With no OOHs responsibility, this role ensures an excellent work/life balance!
