Job Description

If you’re passionate about delivering excellent service and love working as part of a team, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you at Vets4Pets Worcester.

What your typical day will look like:
As a Client Care Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets – offering a warm welcome and playing a key role in ensuring every visit is a positive one.

Your role is to provide exceptional client service while supporting the clinical team. You’ll handle bookings, payments, client queries, and a variety of administrative tasks with confidence and professionalism, acting as the voice of our clients and helping to keep the practice running smoothly.

You’ll be a friendly face, a calm presence, and a reliable source of information and reassurance – whether celebrating a pet’s recovery or offering compassion during more difficult moments.

Working Hours
This is a 12-month maternity cover position offered on a 32-hour contract, with the option to increase to up to 40 hours if desired.

You will be required to work 1 in 2 weekends, on a fair and balanced rota.

Weekday shifts are 8 hours, scheduled between 8:00am and 7:30pm.

This flexible structure is designed to support a healthy balance between your professional responsibilities and personal life.

What we’re looking for

  • A welcoming, customer-focused attitude with great communication skills
  • A calm and caring nature with the ability to support clients through all experiences
  • Confidence in using booking systems and handling administrative tasks
  • Enthusiasm and drive, with a passion for both service and pets
  • A team player who contributes to a friendly and supportive working environment
  • Experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role (veterinary experience a bonus but not essential)

Benefits
We offer a range of benefits to support and reward you, including a 20% discount at Vets4Pets, Pets at Home, and The Groom Room. You’ll also have access to exclusive discounts and cashback offers, in-house career development opportunities, a pension scheme, and a generous holiday allowance. We place a strong emphasis on work/life balance, with shared rotas for bank holidays and the Christmas period to ensure everyone gets some well-earned time off.

If you're a people person with a love for animals, and you’re looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference – we’d love to hear from you!

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
