We are looking for a personable Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and busy team in Hatfield Vets for Pets!

Our practice is based inside a busy Pets at Home Store and is purpose built to industry leading standards and offers digital X-ray, a bright and spacious prep area, ultrasound machine, dedicated theatre, in house lab, separate dog, cat and isolation wards and 3 consult rooms.

You'll be joining a growing team of 2 Vets, 3 Nurses, an SVN, and a small team of support colleagues. We all share a love of pets and a common goal of providing the highest standards of healthcare for patients and clients alike, as well as providing a supportive working environment to each of our colleagues.
 
What we’re looking for
As the ideal candidate to join our team, you will be passionate about providing excellent patient care, confident with routine surgery and medicine and comfortable with small furies. We can also consider Vets that are consult only with a wealth of experience and confidence!

You will recognise the importance of building strong, trusted relationships with patients and clients and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
 
This is a full time or part time position working up to 40hrs per week which will include Saturdays on a 1:3 rota basis (9am-12:30pm). We are a flexible practice so are happy to consider alternative hours and working patterns.

There is no OOHs responsibility with this role but there will be an element of sole charge with support from the nursing team.
