Our well established and fast-growing practice are seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Sidcup Vets for Pets!
About us
Hayley the practice owner qualified as an RVN in 2006 whilst working in a busy veterinary hospital. She has been with Vets for Pets for over 11 years and joined Sidcup in 2022 as the Head Nurse. Since then, she has gone on to become the practice owner and along with the team is providing excellent pet healthcare and customer service to their clients.
You will be joining an existing team of 3 full time Vets, 3 RVNs (including Hayley), SVN, Veterinary Care Assistant and 5 Client Care Advisors. The clinical lead has a keen interest in exotics and sees a variety of exotic cases.
We’re in a great location on the Sherwood Park Avenue with the A2 running close by making access to the M25 and surrounding areas easy, along with bus routes and the local train station. There’s great access to local amenities and within a few minutes’ walk to Danson Park, a lovely green space to enjoy in the sunshine.
About you
We are looking for an experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills who is confident with all routine surgical and medical cases. Special interests will be welcomed and supported. The practice offers clinical freedom and the opportunity to work with a varied and loyal client base, working up cases to a high standard.

This is a part-time role for 20-30 hours per week, ideally working either 8 or 10 hours shifts. 1:4 Saturday mornings are non-negotiable, but no OOHs required.
