About Workington

Workington is a coastal town and civil parish at the mouth of the River Derwent on the west coast in the Allerdale borough of Cumbria, and has a population of over 25,000.

Workington is 32 miles south-west of Carlisle, and local to Whitehaven and Cockermouth. It has gone through regeneration in recent years, with a £50 million shopping centre and mixed-use complex opening in 2006. In 2007, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors named Washington Square the "best commercial project" in North West England.

The practice is based inside one of the best performing Pets at Home stores in the region, which is based in a large retail park that also includes a Morrisons and B&M, as well as ample free parking.

The practice is a 15-minute walk from Workington train station, which has excellent links to Carlisle, Newcastle, Leeds, and Preston.
