Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team, working across our two small animal practices in Cleveleys and Blackpool Warbreck Vets4Pets.

The practice is located in the rapidly expanding yet traditional seaside town of Thornton-Cleveleys, just a few miles from Blackpool and offers great access to much of the northwest of England.  

The team and practice play an active role in the community and customer feedback is excellent. We pride ourselves in being more than ‘just a vets’. There are monthly client events both social and educational.

By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from SVN’s with turning around theatre, patient prep. 

The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including dedicated operating theatre, digital X-ray/in-house laboratory/ultrasound and dentistry facilities.

You will be joining an existing team of 8 vets, 9 Nurses (including our brilliant students) and our front of house team.

To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. 

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, and we’re happy to offer flexible shift patterns. If you have specific scheduling needs, we’d love to hear from you! The role includes a shared rota, covering 1 weekend in every 8 (Saturday 9am–3pm and Sunday 10am–2pm), followed by a long weekend off the following week.
