Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead to come and join our friendly team at Trafford Park Vets for Pets. 

Our practice is well equipped with state-of-the-art digital xray, ultrasound and lab machines along with an excellent microscope and soon to be installed dental xray.  In addition to this we also house a multiparameter, drip pumps, syringe driver and a bair hugga. 

Our team include 2 permanent vets who have interests in ophthalmology, acupuncture, internal medicine and cytology. We have an experienced professional nursing team and VCA, who undertake nurse clinics and support the vets with surgical procedures and diagnostics. Our front of house team are our heroes supporting the practice with client care and engaging with the clinical team.

We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, comfortable with sole charge, to work 40 hours per week. There will be 1 in 3 weekends (Saturday 9-6) with time back in lieu, and no OOH! We are flexible as to the hours as we can work with shifts to help childcare etc.

We are conveniently located on the easily accessible Trafford Retail Park in Manchester, just off of the M60 with local transport links close by. Being based on the retail park, we have a good variety of shops and restaurants including, Boots, B&M, Sports Direct, Dunelm, Starbucks, Aldi, McDonalds, Five Guys, Nandos and Pizza Hut. We’re just a 20min drive away from the city centre also!
