Emma our practice owner came to Falmouth 20 years ago and loved it so much that she never left. Instead, she chose to open this successful practice in the heart of the community, corporate in name only, we are independently run with complete clinical autonomy and no targets or upselling, ensuring our focus remains solely on the wellbeing of our patients and the satisfaction of our clients in the heart of the community. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. As a 100% small animal GP accredited practice with an Outstanding PSS Award for Client Service, we are at the heart of community life. Many of our clients have been with us for years, trusting us to take the best possible care of their extended family members. 

What to expect
You’ll be joining a friendly and welcoming team who work collaboratively to get things done. You can also expect:

  • 20-minute consults as standard
  • Structured diary with dedicated surgery and procedure time, as well as admin and breaks
  • Visiting cardiology specialist
  • Spacious practice with 3 consult rooms, office/kitchen space, separate cat and isolation ward
  • Supportive team with practice owner Emma also a trained Mental Health First Aider

Flexible rota 
We know that life is about more than just work. Our full-time rota typically includes 4 weekdays (Monday - Friday) with just 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8.30am- 12.30pm, no Sundays and no OOH. If you’re looking for something different though let us know and we can work something out.

What you’ll bring to the role
To make the most of this role, you will have experience of working in practice, with good medical and surgical skills and ideally with a surgical interest.

Bringing a down-to-earth approach to your work, you will be a friendly individual who has a great sense of humour. Crucially, you will be a team player who works well under pressure and enjoys a great deal of variety in every day.
